Saint George — Pendant in 316L Steel
£17.99
In 1348, Edward III named Saint George the patron saint of England and founded the Order of the Garter under his name. The order has run uninterrupted to this day.
The figure on this pendant is the standard he became: George on horseback, lance levelled, dragon beneath. It is the device English knights took into the field at Crécy, at Poitiers, at Agincourt — the single most identifying mark of medieval English warrior identity, and the origin of every cross of Saint George flown in England since.
316L stainless steel. Hypoallergenic. Never tarnishes. 60cm chain (50 / 70 available on request).
— Anglo Prince
